mIRC mIRC is a great chat application, that will provide you a long while of enjoyment on IRC. You can customize it, and run scripts, and do much more than possible with the java applet, plus it takes less processor power to run than a java applet in a web browser. But first, you need to get it all working to enjoy its benefeits, and thats what this help tutoral is all about. Note: This tutoral assumes you have already downloaded and installed mIRC, if you have not already done that, click here step
1:
when you first start
up mIRC, you are greeted with several popup windows. The the only
one we will be concerned with is the mIRC options dialog box. Unfortunately,
the person who wrote mIRC wasn't smart enough to add the madhouse IRC server
to the list. Not much of a problem though, we can do it.. its easy.
Step
2:
Now, something extraordinary
appears, the mIRC Add Server Dialog box pops up.. Fill out the information
as shown:
